Google Internet Summit 2009: Session Standards

Google Internet Summit 2009: The State of the web 5 May 2009 Google Internet Summit 2009 Internet Standards session. Panelists include Bhorat Zahedi, Tony Rutkowski, John Klensin, Tina Dam, Erik Kline. On 5 and 6 May 2009, in Mountain View, we have brought together the executives of Google and the science and the business world for a summit two days in a state of the global Internet to discuss. The aim of the summit was to gather a wide range of knowledge about Google plans for the future - from product developmentdevelopment and commercialization of user expectations and our ability to keep the Internet open and still achieve safe. More than 30 speakers and moderators in the discussions around 8 themes: networks, wireless and sensor technologies, security, standards, applications, democracy, law, policy and regulation, research and cloud computing and the future. Eric Schmidt, who offered a few remarks, he expressed his confidence that the challenges we face can be solved with access to the governments' to the closed nature of the Internettechnologically by building networks that are transparent, open and scalable.
